Ira Khan, daughter of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, is gearing up to launch her podcast titled "Call Me Hopeful," where she will delve into various aspects of mental health with a diverse array of guests, including Imran Khan, Vir Das, Kenny Sebastian, and Mallika Dua.

Sharing the trailer of her upcoming podcast, Ira offers a glimpse of the guests who will feature on the show, aiming to provide audiences with a comprehensive understanding of mental health topics.

During one segment, Imran Khan delves into the concept of gaslighting, questioning its ubiquitous use. He remarks, "I hear the phrase 'gaslight' being thrown around so much now. And you’re like, okay, while that is a real and valid thing, is everything gaslighting?"

Ira Khan elucidates the podcast's objective, stating, "There’s a lot of information, misinformation, oversimplification, and then overcomplication of a lot of concepts and things that we talk about in regards to mental health on the internet. And this show is meant to be a place where I can discuss those things with various different people. I want it to be a source where we can take the concepts that are kind of getting cluttered on the internet and then just have a more objective, even, balanced conversation about them so that then you can choose for yourself."

The trailer caption announces the release of the first episode on May 12th at 11 am on YouTube, inviting viewers to join Ira Khan on her journey to explore mental health conversations prevalent on the Indian internet.

Ira Khan is the daughter of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta, and her podcast promises to offer a platform for insightful discussions on mental health topics.
