Siddhant Chaturvedi, known for his role in Gully Boy, recently disclosed in an interview that he was offered a part in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra but turned it down, leading to him being "blacklisted" in the casting circuit.

The actor shared that a month before Gully Boy, he received an offer for a role in the film. However, he decided against it, stating, "They said that you do martial arts, it was an action fantasy film. I was offered the role of one of the superheroes."

Despite the casting director's insistence, Siddhant stuck to his decision, mentioning, "Who will watch me if Amitabh Bachchan is there, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are there together."

The actor further revealed the consequences, saying, "I was blacklisted by the casting circuit of the industry. People used to think I rejected roles after going through the entire casting process." Despite this, Siddhant Chaturvedi has continued his journey in the industry and was last seen in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan opposite Ananya Panday and Adarsh Gourav.
