Hina Khan sends empowering message to cancer warriors

Actress Hina Khan, who has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer, shared an inspirational message for those battling the disease.

In her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Hina wrote, “A window to my journey. This is to all those courageous women and men who are fighting this tough battle.” She expressed her hope that her own struggle with cancer will inspire and empower others, adding, “I wish my journey can be courageous and motivating enough for people out there to turn a page in their own stories for good.” She concluded with a powerful note, “And remember we may be SCARRED but we MUST not be SCARED,” including the hashtag “Scarred Not Scared.”

On Saturday, the 36-year-old actress posted a simple yet uplifting message on Instagram Stories: “This too shall pass.”

Hina Khan recently revealed her diagnosis, shocking fans and friends in the industry.

In a heartfelt note on Instagram, she said, "Hello everyone, To address the recent rumours, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with Stage Three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I want to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined and truly committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger."

Industry colleagues such as Mrunal Thakur, Isha Malviya, Shivangi Joshi, Gauahar Khan, and Ankita Lokhande expressed their support and wished her a speedy recovery in the comments section of her post.

Hina Khan gained fame with her role as Akshara in the popular TV show "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai." She has also participated in reality shows like "Bigg Boss 11" and "Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 8." Most recently, she appeared in the Punjabi film "Shinda Shinda No Papa," alongside Gippy Grewal and his son Shinda Grewal.
