Hera Pheri to receive third sequel: Firoz Nadiadwala

The third installment of the much acclaimed Bollywood movie, 'Hera Pheri' has been announced by producer Firoz Nadiadwala and will reprise the original cast, including Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty.

"Its' in development...We all share a responsibility. Responsibility between us, to the audiences who have been so kind with the affection coming forward and to the trade as well," Nadiadwala was quoted as saying in a statement to Bollywood Hungama. "It is a huge responsibility. It is a moral responsibility. Not just a responsibility that you can weigh in commerce and monetize,"

'Hera Pheri' is a remake of the equally famous Malayalam film 'Ramjirao Speaking' (Siddique-Lal) while its sequel, 'Hera Pheri 2' is inspired from 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' and both Hindi films were helmed by Malayalam director Priyadarshan. 'Hera Pheri' recently celebrated its 20st anniversary on March 31.
