Fan proposes marriage to Celina Jaitly, she says "I will ask my husband"

A fan recently asked former Bollywood actress Celina Jaitly to marry him on Twitter. She replied lightheartedly that she will ask her husband.

The Twitter user wrote: "Celina Jaitly Best Wishes. My Health is not Good. No one to take care of me Before My Health Becomes worse. Urgently Bring me with you to get married to me at the Earliest I am Ready for Ghar Jamay to Save My Life and Health. Reply and Respond. Regards. Vijay Maganlal Vora at Kolkata."

Celina replied to the tweet, "I will ask my husband and three kids and revert!"

She is married to Austrian entrepreneur and hotelier Peter Haag. They have three children - 11-year-old twins Winston and Viraaj and five-year-old Arthur. Arthur was also born with a twin brother Samsher who died soon after birth.

Celina in September 2022 celebrated her 11th wedding anniversary and wrote on Instagram, "Please pray for my husband @haag.peter as yesterday the 23rd of September marked his 11th year as Prisoner of war lol. We got married at a 2000-year-old Monastery in Austria 11 years ago. The monks who presided over our wedding said it was the first time in two thousand years that two people from two extremely different cultures were coming together in that monastery. They were elated to preside at such a historical moment… Ours was a strictly “only family” wedding and I am so glad of the simplicity for every moment truly mattered to everyone involved. Incidentally, this was also the last picture of my husband as a free man, lol."

The actress said in an interview with Hindustan Times that she did not move away from Bollywood due to getting married but the decision was taken due to the exhaustion of surviving in the industry as an outsider. "I had taken a purposeful break from cinema because of reasons best known to me and this had nothing to do with the fact that I got married. I was just tired and exhausted of how difficult it kept getting for an outsider to continuously strive to find the roles which celebrate the actor within. Having to constantly prove myself, I just got fed up with trying to please everyone and reached a point where I said, ‘Okay gotta take a break. Do some other things in life, recharge batteries, and then whenever I’m ready, I will come back again."
