Diljit Dosanjh challenges stereotypes with packed Mumbai concert

Following the premiere of his film Amar Singh Chamika, Diljit's concert was the talk of social media, capturing the essence of a night filled with music and celebration.
A day after the concert, Diljit took to social media to share highlights from the packed stadium. Female fans were seen holding up signs with 'Marry Me, Diljit' written on them, while others were visibly emotional, shedding tears of joy at witnessing their favorite artist perform live. The crowd was lively, with Punjabi fans breaking into bhangra as they celebrated the music.
In a video from the concert, Diljit addressed the stereotypes associated with Punjabis.
He said, "They said Punjabis aren’t fashionable and I said, I will show you. They said Punjabis can’t act in films, I showed them I could. They said Punjabis can’t go to Mumbai, and I proved them wrong. They said Punjabis can’t sell tickets for the bar arena, I had the stadium packed at my concert. They said Punjabis can’t do Illuminati, I said, I will do ‘Di-Luminati."
He also announced his upcoming Vancouver concert on April 27.
Celebrities like Varun Dhawan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Vijay Varma, who attended the concert, shared their experiences and moments from the event.
Diljit, on the other hand, posted a series of videos and photos from the concert, showcasing his energetic performance and the enthusiastic response from the audience.
One video featured actor Angad Bedi dancing to Diljit's music and giving him a shout-out, while another showed Ayushmann and his brother Aparshakti expressing their admiration, shouting, "We love you Diljit paaji!"
On his Instagram story, Diljit reposted photos and videos from Bollywood celebrities who attended his concert, expressing gratitude for their support and love.
The concert was graced by the presence of several Bollywood stars including Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, Rajkummar Rao, Patralekha, Kriti Sanon, Maniesh Paul, Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, Taapsee Pannu, and Karan Kundrra.
