Black Panther Wakanda Forever: Shuri appears to take up the superhero mantle
text_fieldsBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever's first trailer is out and it has introduced the villain Tenoch Huerta's Namor in detail. It has also given a glimpse of the new Black Panther after the death of King T'Challa and it appears to be Letitia Wright's Shuri.
The trailer hints at a new conflict brewing in the country after the death of its dead king. The video pays homage to the late Chadwick Boseman who played Black Panther in the original film. It has been discussed for a long time who will be taking up his mantle. Being the king's sister, Shuri seemed like the obvious choice. And it looks like Marvel did not waste the opportunity to choose a smart and powerful female superhero and leader.
In the short video, Shuri was seen mourning her brother and paying tribute to him. In the end, a new Black Panther wearing a suit lands on the screen. But the face remained covered. The poster, however, put Shuri at the centre from which fans deducted her to be the new Black Panther.
