Asif Ali to join Nivin Pauly for Abrid Shine's next project

Reports have surfaced that Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly may turn producer for his next venture. The film will be directed by Abrid Shine and will star Asif Ali in the lead role.
A Nivin Pauly-Abrid Shine film was on the cards with heavy speculation that it may be a sequel to 2016's hit film 'Action Hero Biju'. However it seems that Nivin Pauly may only play a limited role in this film with the bulk of it being the responsibility of producing it.
No confirmation has been made by the makers yet. If confirmed, this would be Nivin Pauly's third film with Shine and also his fourth production venture after 'Action Hero Biju', 'Njandugalude Naatil Oru Idavela' and the latest one in its post-production stage, Rateesh Balakrishnan Poduval's 'Kanakam Kamini Kalaham'. It would also be the third time Nivin Pauly and Asif Ali have worked together since 'Sevenes' in 2011 and 'Traffic' in 2010.
