With the world still reeling under the COVID-19 pandemic, theatres are set to open and the first Indian film to release after lockdown will be Khalid Rahman's "Love", starring Rajisha Vijayan and Shine Tom Chacko in lead roles. The film will debut in UAE theatres on October 15th. It is distributed under the banner of Home Screen Entertainment and Golden Cinema.

This is Khalid Rahman's second venture after the critically-acclaimed "Unda" which started Mammootty. Ashiq Usman has produced the film. The director and producer have assured the audience that theater shows will be conducted entirely under strict COVID-19 prevention protocols.

The film, which is the first to be shot entirely during the lockdown period, is about the events which occur in a room and focuses on the ups and downs in the lives of a married couple. It was cleared with a UA certificate from the Censor Board. Jimshi Khalid handles the cinematography of the film, which also stars Sudhi Koppa, Veena Nandakumar, Johny Antony and Gokulan.

Despite the lockdown restrictions as well as instructions to halt all shooting from the producer's association the film was shot and completed between June 22 - July 15.

Yakzan Gary Pereira and Neha S Nair have scored the background for the movie.
