Enterntainment: Kerala based renowned filmmaker Amal Neerad has announced his film with the release a bunch of its first look posters. The film is titled ‘Bougainvillea’ and as per the posters it is to have an ensemble cast of Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Jyothirmayi, Sharaf U Dheen, Veena Nandakumar, and Srinda.

Amal Neerad, a cinematographer turned director, is returning to the director’s chair after two years after a successful outing with senior superstar Mammootty in Bheeshma Parvam.

The Indian Express noted that the posters features the shade of blood red, exuinding a sense of dread and predicting an action extravaganza. One among posters feature Kunchacho Boban flaunting a shotgun in his hand whiel Fahadh Fazil stands next to him with a pistol but in another direction. Jyothirmayi sports a salt and pepper look with attitude and another shotgun. When Veena Nandakmar, Srinda and Sharaf U Dheen can be seen at the background, two hounds were also seen in fore. All the six people and the hounds look furious.

Amal Neerad’s Instagram page started revealing posters one-by-one since Saturday morning. Director Lijo Jose Pellissery, who has been promoting the project since the begging has shared a poster of Nivin Pauly also, suggesting his involvement in the project. But it is widely debated that the said poster must be fanmade since it wasn’t shared by Amal Neerad or the film’s crew, TIE reported.

Neerad, known for his aetheticisation of violent action scenes, started his career as cinematographer in Ranjith’s Mammootty starrer “Black” in 2004. His donned the director’s hat for the first time with Big B, a Mammootty starrer again, in 2007. The movie came a trendsetter and gathered a huge fanbase. He continued his success with those movies he made later such as Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded, Anwar, Bachelor Party, Iyobinte Pustakam, Comrade in America, Varathan, and Bheeshma Parvam
