The highly anticipated film "Pushpa 2," starring Allu Arjun, continues to attract attention in the entertainment industry as its pre-release business unfolds.
Latest reports reveal that Jayantilal Gada, a prominent producer in the Hindi film industry, has successfully acquired the satellite rights for the multi-language action entertainer directed by Sukumar.
According to insiders, Jayantilal Gada has secured the satellite rights for various language versions of "Pushpa 2," including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
"Jayantilal Gada is a leading player in the satellite market and has done a blanket language deal with Mythri for Pushpa 2," a source close to the development disclosed. "He will now re-sell the rights to satellite players based on the bids received. The film is extremely hot in the market, and there is big demand from the TV players to acquire the showcasing rights of the Allu Arjun film for their platform," reported Pinkvilla.
Despite the challenges faced by the satellite market, there is significant demand from broadcasters for the showcasing rights of "Pushpa 2." "Allu Arjun films tend to do well on TV, and the prices offered are at record levels in the new world," the source added. Discussions are ongoing to finalize satellite partnerships for all languages within the next 30 days.
"Allu Arjun's popularity and the franchise factor contribute to the premium deals being offered for satellite rights," emphasized the source. While specific figures regarding the satellite acquisition price for "Pushpa 2" circulate within the industry, an official confirmation is yet to be obtained. However, it is speculated that the deal may be valued around the Rs 80 crore mark.

The first song from "Pushpa 2" is scheduled to be launched on May 1, 2024, marking the beginning of the countdown to the film's release on Independence Day.
