Mumbai: Alia Bhatt, renowned for her impressive journey in the film industry, recently made her mark in the world of fashion by becoming the face of the prestigious brand, Gucci.

The talented actress attended the Gucci Ancora Spring Summer show at Milan Fashion Week, where she mingled with fashion luminaries and shared the front row with notable figures like Bad Bunny, Anna Wintour, and Kendall Jenner. Following this high-profile event, Alia Bhatt has been spotted back in Mumbai.

Known for her impeccable sense of style, Alia effortlessly showcased her fashion prowess once again. She opted for a stylish yet understated airport outfit, featuring a black tank top, white joggers, white shoes, and a black bag. Alia's look was further elevated with a pair of sunglasses, solidifying her reputation as a fashion icon with an unbeatable style game.

Gucci's Spring 2024 collection marks a significant shift in the luxury brand's aesthetic under the creative direction of Sabato De Sarno.

This collection, named "Ancora," presents a departure from the madcap, maximalist style associated with the former creative director Alessandro Michele, offering a fresh take on everyday essentials and a new vision of minimalistic suiting.

De Sarno, who previously worked behind the scenes at fashion powerhouses like Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Valentino, has introduced a more refined and understated approach to Gucci. The runway showcased a series of looks that emphasised simplicity and versatility. Models, elegantly waifish, walked along a path of light, with each step illuminated, creating a mesmerising effect.

One of the standout elements of the collection is the introduction of the "teeny short suit," a trend that has gained prominence in the fashion world. Blazers and shorts paired with nothing else take centre stage, offering a chic and minimalist take on suiting. These suits are reimagined with little white tees, tank tops, and bold platform loafers, creating a fresh interpretation of classic attire.

Embossed monogram shift dresses, oversized tailored vests worn unbuttoned, glittering crystal bras, and monogram baggy dresses paired with matching bags contribute to the collection's diverse range. Notably, the blazers and suits styled without shirts underneath infuse everyday pieces with an editorial flair, adding a unique twist to classic wardrobe staples.

While the collection introduces a more streamlined and straightforward aesthetic, it retains the hallmark of Gucci's commitment to accessories.

Each model carried a bag, and many adorned themselves with chunky gold jewellery and sunglasses, demonstrating the continued importance of accessories for the brand. The runway also featured referential twists on Gucci's signature elements, paying homage to the brand's heritage while embracing a new direction.
