Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor become parents to a baby girl

Mumbai: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed a baby daughter on Sunday at 12.05 pm. The couple was seen arriving at HN Reliance Foundation Hospital at 7 am.
Alia Bhatt shared the news on her Instagram which read: "And in the best news of our lives, our baby is here... and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love. Blessed and obsessed parents."
Both families led by Alia's mother Soni Razdan and Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor were at the hospital. Ranbir's sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also confirmed the news of the baby's arrival. Alia's sisters Shaheen Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt took to social media to share their joy. Shaheen wrote: "I may never stop weeping. Our little bean is finally here and life has forever changed." Pooja Bhatt wrote: "And just like that, the world is illuminated with light."
Alia and Ranbir got married at an intimate ceremony in April 2022 and surprised the fans by announcing their pregnancy in June 2022.
