Chennai: The teaser of Gautham Menon-directed Dhruva Natchathiram has been released in a different approach as the director has been just a few days into the shooting of the Chiyan Vikram starrer spy thriller.
The more than 2-minute promo video gives a sneak peek at the leading man’s new mission. Vikram plays John, a spy on a covert mission. However, his rivals learn about his whereabouts and kidnap his handler called Mr K to draw him out in open.
Tipped to be a high-octane action-thriller, the film is shot on an international scale.
Vikram, who was last seen sporting a thick beard for Tamil actioner “Irumugan”, has undergone a makeover for the movie. As per sources, he will be seen in a salt-and-pepper getup for most part of the film. There might be some flashback portions where he will be required to look younger.
Actor Anu Emmanuel has been roped in to play the female lead. The film will hit the screens in August this year.
