OYO takes up the costs of vaccination for employees and families

OYO Hotels and Homes announced in a statement on Thursday that it would cover the costs of vaccinating its employees and their families in India across all locations. As per the statement, employees and their families can avail vaccinations from any centre of their convenience, and the costs shall be reimbursed in full by the hospitality company. Additionally, the company's insurance benefit has also been enhanced to include Covid-19 home care cover.

"As part of our commitment to keep our employees and their families safe and show our gratitude to them, we are happy to facilitate the cost of their Covid-19 vaccinations. We encourage employees to take the vaccine after reading up about its benefits and making an informed decision," said Dinesh Ramamurthi, Chief Human Resources Officer at OYO.

"We have always believed in providing equal opportunities to everyone irrespective of their age and gender, and our new gender-neutral parental policy is a testament to us levelling the playing field both at home and at work," he added.
