Bengaluru: Bengaluru is regarded as India's Silicon Valley because of its quick expansion and contribution to the development of the country's IT industry.

Landlords are hesitant to accept tenants due to the job market's instability caused by IT companies' repeated layoff campaigns. The strict requirements of the landlords are challenging for employees of tech businesses to meet.

A number of trending social media posts featured landlords requesting from tenants their LinkedIn accounts, board scores, and even an IIT or IIM degree, NDTV reported.

The bulk of landlords' actions show that they have strict standards and only consider applicants who have graduated from one of the country's top institutions to be the "right" fit for a tenant's profile.

Many entrepreneurs have discovered a new ray of hope in the unusual tenant-landlord situation in the city. After Pawan Gupta recently raised $10K from his landlord for his firm Betterhalf, several startups have discovered a new ray of light amid a unique tenant-landlord situation in the city.

Mr Gupta tweeted about it, and it quickly gained popularity. The first marriage super app for singles, powered by AI, has received a $10,000 investment from the landlord. In the WhatsApp chat, the landlord writes, "I'm investing in you, honestly." He adds, "All the best and hope you reach the greatest of heights." Responding to the landlord, Mr Gupta wrote, "Thank you, Sushil." In a follow-up message, the landlord mentioned that he has invested $10,000 in Betterhalf's startup.

The caption reads, "In a tough business landscape, I found an unexpected investor in my landlord. He recently invested $10K in my startup @betterhalfai. Truly amazed by the entrepreneurial spirit everyone in Bangalore shows. Silicon Valley of India for a reason. #peakbengalurumoment."

The post soon went viral and collected several comments. A user wrote, "Woah how cool is this."

Another user wrote, "Is that actually in $ ?? That's great funding. Best wishes."

"This is such a great news," the third user commented.

Another great Bengaluru moment has gone viral in the meantime. A man named Goutham shared an image of a WhatsApp conversation with a house owner in Bengaluru during which the owner requested a LinkedIn profile and a brief bio from the individual. Online discussion has been generated by the post. On Twitter, Goutham described a "peak Bengaluru" moment.

He posted on WhatsApp, including a copy of the WhatsApp conversation, "Day 12 of house hunting Indiranagar." He was asked to share his LinkedIn profile, as evidenced by the chat. He added a screenshot of another owner in a subsequent post, who requested that the man include a brief bio.
