New Delhi: Despite the tensions across the Line of Control (LoC), China remains India's largest trading partner. In 2020, India imported goods worth $58.71 billion from China, informed Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, while responding to a question raised by Trinamool Congress MP Mala Roy in the Lok Sabha.

In addition to China, India also imports from the USA, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. The estimated worth of imports from different countries are US at $26.89 billion; UAE at $23.96 billion; Saudi Arabia at $17.73 billion; and Iraq at $16.26 billion.
