Kozhikode: HiLITE Group provides added strength and support to Kerala's advance, standing tall on the global development map. Over three decades, it has etched its unique signature across the state's construction sectors with numerous world-class innovative projects. Earning accolades at national and international levels, HiLITE Group now unveils ambitious plans for the next five years, championing the most modern models in construction. As it completes 30 years, a look at HiLITE's future projects...

50 million sq ft for 5 years

HiLITE Group, which has dynamically powered Kerala's development projects, is now preparing to develop 50 million sq ft of projects in the state by 2030 within the next five years, aiming to strengthen the state's economic sector at this milestone of completing three decades.

Projects across Kerala will include residential, commercial, and retail developments, alongside ventures in hospitality, health, and education sectors. IT parks in Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kozhikode form part of the plan. "We've delivered Kerala's best for three decades; our aim is time-defying innovative spaces statewide," said HiLITE Group Chairman P. Sulaiman.

"We have high expectations for Kerala's potential. Our new projects are part of that vision. They will add global shine to Kerala while focusing on creating local opportunities," says HiLITE Group CEO Ajil Muhammed.

Staff honored

HiLITE Group employs over 10,000 across various divisions, functioning more like a family than mere staff. Every individual consistently bolsters the group's growth. Marking 30 years, the company honored key contributors by gifting 47 cars to employees.

Olympus, winner of the 2025 Economic Times Business Award for Iconic Project, hosted the latest milestone celebration.

The new projects will create over 200,000 direct and indirect jobs across infrastructure, retail, education, healthcare, hospitality, and business sectors.

Success journey

Founded in 1996, HiLITE has launched numerous projects across real estate and related sectors. From Kerala's first organised retail mall, Focus Mall, to HiLITE Mall Kozhikode and HiLITE Mall Thrissur, it has shaped modern urban experiences. The group is developing six malls statewide, while HiLITE City's Rs 6,000 crore World Trade Center—India's largest at 12.5 million sq ft—advances rapidly.

This project will give new wings to Kerala's development dreams on the global stage, with its first building set to become operational soon. Construction of the entire World Trade Center is progressing at a rapid pace. Moreover, its investment has already been fully closed—even before construction began, defying narratives of no investment in Kerala.
