Kochi: Air India Express (AIXL), India's first international budget airline, has launched its wider range of meal options to cater to different tastes and preferences, in collaboration with an in-flight dining brand, Gourmair.

The award-winning brand Gourmair is curated to cater to diverse culinary preferences with a wide range of hot meals and lite bites.

With this introduction, Air India Express will broaden its meal offerings, replacing complimentary snack boxes with an extended buy-on-board menu.

The service that is available from June 22, 2023 allows Air India Express guests to pre-book Gourmair hot meals in distinct sections including MasterChef Specials, World's Finest, Regional Favourites, All-Day Breakfast, Healthy and Diabetic options, Seasonal Fresh Fruits, Lite Bites including Sandwiches and Rolls and Delectable Desserts on the airline’s new co-branded website airindiaexpress.com.

To ensure the meals served on board meet the highest standards of hygiene, quality, and flavour, the airline has partnered with various chefs of reputed flight kitchens across India, UAE and Singapore.

The revamped Food and Beverage (FnB) menu presents an extensive array of choices carefully curated to cater to diverse dietary preferences.

Gourmair has proved extremely popular on board AirAsia India domestic flights and we are pleased to bring this on the Air India Express international routes as well. We cordially invite all our guests to savour the distinctive flavours of Gourmair served oven-hot at 36,000 feet in the sky."

Alongside AIXL, the harmonised Gourmair menu continues to be available on domestic flights operated by AirAsia India.
