Mumbai: The latest Forbes' Real-Time Billionaires List has shown Indian businessman Gautam Adani pushing Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates behind to become the world's fourth richest person.

With a fortune worth $115.5 billion, the 60-year-old Adani has overtaken Gates' $104.6 billion fortune on Thursday.

With a net worth of $90 billion, another Indian business tycoon Mukesh Ambani was ranked 10th richest person in the list.

Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk, who has been involved in a huge controversy after his bid to buy Twitter only to abandon it later, tops the list with $235.8 billion.

Adani is famed for turning a small commodities trading business into a conglomerate spanning ports, mines and green energy.
