Indian Embassy in Riyadh invites applications for clerk posts with SR 4,000 initial salary

Riyadh: The Embassy of India in Riyadh has announced job openings for the post of clerk, inviting applications from Indian nationals residing in Saudi Arabia with a valid Iqama or National ID and work eligibility.

According to the notification on the embassy’s official website, the pay scale for the position ranges from SR 4,000 to SR 9,800 per month, with an initial salary of SR 4,000.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. All academic documents are required to be attested by the respective State Government, Ministry of Education, Ministry of External Affairs (New Delhi) and the Saudi Embassy in New Delhi.

Candidates must have computer proficiency and a strong command of English, while knowledge of Arabic will be considered an added advantage. The upper age limit is 35 years as of November 1, 2025.

The recruitment process includes shortlisting of applications, document verification, a written test with objective-type questions and a typing test followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates. The interview panel will assess each applicant’s communication skills, personality and relevant experience.

Applicants must submit their applications in PDF format via email to adm.riyadh@mea.gov.in  

with the subject line: “Application for the Post of Clerk – (Name of the Candidate)”. Required attachments include attested academic and experience certificates, proof of any special training, and mark sheets.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, November 12. The dates for the written test, typing test, and interview will be announced later.

The embassy has stated that incomplete or improperly documented applications will be rejected. Interested candidates can download the application form and view full details on the official website of the Embassy of India in Riyadh.
