Kuwait’s Armed Forces intercepted and destroyed hostile drones that entered the country’s airspace from dawn on Friday, the Ministry of Defence said.
Colonel Staff Saud Al-Atwan, the ministry’s official spokesman, said the continued “Iranian aggression” targeted several vital and military installations across Kuwait.
He said the Armed Forces detected the drones, engaged the hostile targets and destroyed them.
The attacks caused material damage from falling debris, but no casualties were reported, the ministry said.
Col Al-Atwan said the Armed Forces remain on high alert and continue to carry out their duties to protect Kuwait’s sovereignty and security.
