Kuwait’s Cabinet has announced the Eid Al Adha and Arafat Day holiday for ministries, government bodies, public authorities and institutions from Tuesday, May 26, to Sunday, May 31, 2026.
The decision was issued during the Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
Under the schedule, May 26 to 29 will be official public holidays, while May 30 and 31 fall on the regular weekend.
Official working hours will resume on Monday, June 1.
The Cabinet said entities with special operational requirements would determine their own holiday arrangements in line with public interest.
On the occasion, the Cabinet extended congratulations to Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, citizens and residents, wishing continued prosperity for the Arab and Islamic nations.
