Gulf Madhyamam and MeFriend have launched the Lulu Dum Dum Biryani Contest in Bahrain, bringing the culinary competition to the kingdom with a series of events centred around biryani-making.
The contest aims to identify Bahrain’s top biryani cook and is open to participants of all genders, ages and nationalities.
Organisers said contestants selected through free registration will advance to the semi-finals before competing in the final round on May 29 at Lulu Hypermarket in Seef Galleria Mall.
Finalists will prepare biryani live in front of spectators during the event, which will also feature music, dance performances and family entertainment activities.
The winner of the competition, who will be crowned Biryani Master, will receive prizes worth more than $1,000.
Registrations will remain open until May 18, after which semi-finalists will be selected according to contest rules.
Participants can register by scanning the event QR code or through the website madhyamam.com/ddb-bahrain
