A US influencer has garnered widespread praise after a heartwarming video of him surprising a homeless woman with her own apartment went viral.

The woman, who had been living on the streets for a decade, was overwhelmed with emotion when she realized that the influencer had gifted her a home.

The video, shared by Isahia Garza on Instagram, shows him sitting in his car and greeting the woman, who responds cheerfully. He then invites her to come closer and open a gift bag, which contains a key. "I got you an apartment," Garza tells her in the clip. The woman is moved to tears and exclaims, "You're crazy." The video goes on to show Garza taking her to her new home, which is furnished with a television, a bed, and other amenities.

In the caption of his post, Garza wrote, "POV: Surprising a homeless lady with her first home in over 10 years! I learned so much from this day & the process of helping her. She is an amazing soul & I will never forget this beautiful moment. I'm posting this video in honor of the video surpassing 200 million views across social media. At the time, I didn't realize the amount of mental health issues & trauma someone goes through by living on the streets for 15-plus years. I'm glad I was able to make a little difference in her life at the time. Until next time."

Since its posting on June 7, the video has amassed over 11.1 million views and nine lakh likes.

Viewers were deeply touched by the gesture. One user commented, "I just loved how she stood up and yelled back. Just beautiful," while another added, "You made me cry bro." Others expressed their sentiments with comments like "Humans do care" and "There's no human in this world who became poor by giving. God bless you, brother." Many people also filled the comments section with heart emojis, reflecting their appreciation for the act of kindness.
