Netviot/ Gaza: Israeli cops shot dead two Palestinian operatives traveling in a vehicle after chasing them outside Netviot, a city near Gaza, reports say.

The movie-style scenes from a footage showed a cop firing his gun riding on a motorbike, chasing a vehicle.

The footage posted on X by Israeli police is the latest to come from the battlefront where Israeli forces are taking on Hamas.

The shooting incident was played out on an empty road across a vast last as police hunted down the operatives.

As the cop on the motorbike got nearer the car, other police men already had overtaken the car, and shooting.

The vehicle was seen pulled over to the side of the road, coming to a halt.

After multiple rounds of firing, the cops were seen approaching the vehicle.

‘Police and Border Police officers heroically neutralized two armed terrorists outside of Netivot on Saturday. We will continue working on the front lines to defend our civilians from terror,’ police said in the post.

Israeli forces have been fighting since Saturday to dislodge Palestinian operatives who invaded Israel alongside staging a surprise attack on ground, air and sea.

Reports said Palestinian groups have been taking hostage civilians in Southern part of the country alongside killing people indiscriminately.

Israeli defence forces continue airstrike in Gaza targeting Hamas hideouts.

Meanwhile, Hamas threatened to execute civilian hostages, dragged across Gaza, if Israel continued with airstrikes, NDTV reported.

However, Israel has only intensified attack after Prime Minister Netanyahu declared war on Hamas.
