Gun pointed at Argentina Vice President, man fails to kill her

The video of the incident aired by TV channels showed Cristina Kirchner getting out of the car that was to take her home in Buenos Aires, when the man pointed the gun at her, according to news agency AFP.
Security minister Anibal Fernandez said the man was arrested and police will analyse fingerprints for more information.
Meanwhile, a tweet revealed the identify of the arrested man as Brazilian National named Fernando Andrés Sabag Montiel who failed at the last moment from assassinating Kirchner.
Vice President Cristina Kirchner has been facing massive protests in front of her home after she is accused of fraudulently awarding public works contracts.
Prosecutors have asked her to face 12 years in jail and a lifetime ban from politics, but she enjoys parliamentary immunity.
Even if convicted at the end of the year, Kirchner would not go to prison unless her sentence was ratified by the country's Supreme Court, according to the report.
