Adult star Sophia Leone dies at age 26, probe underway

New York: Adult film star Sophia Leone was found ‘unresponsive’ in her apartment on March 1, her stepfather Mike Romero said on Saturday.
He said that police are investigating the cause of Sophia’s death.
It is reported that her family found Leone ‘unresponsive’ in the apartment and writing on GoFundMe, her stepfather Romero sought funds for the star’s memorial.
‘On behalf of her mother and family, it is with a heavy heart that I have to share the news of our beloved Sophia's passing,’ he was quoted as saying.
Romero said that Sophia’s sudden death devastated her family and friends, leaving them in shock, adding that ‘On top of the difficult process of grieving and seeking justice for Sophia, the family is also facing the financial burden that they were not prepared for.’
Confirming her death, Sophia’s modeling agency 101 Modeling said their ‘hearts are broken by the untimely and tragic passing of our beloved Sophia Leone.’
Claiming that she did not die of suicide, they said the death is being investigated as a ‘home invasion homicide’.
Born on June 10, 1997, in Miami in the US, Sophia Leone reportedly entered the adult entertainment industry at the age of 18.
Sophia Leone is the fourth adult star to die untimely this year alongside Kagney Linn Karter, Jesse Jane, and Thaina Fields.
