Dubai: When a sports competition between India and Pakistan happens, the event will catch a fire of thrill. Generally, the two are considered arch rivals, irrespective of the item they are competing for.

However, a match between an Indian and a Pak in Karate Combat on Saturday witnessed a different and warm scene following the end of the competition. India's Rana Singh and Pakistan's Shahzaib Rindh fought each other on stage, and the former won the match after an intense battle.

After winning the match, Shahzaib showed a warm gesture, which became a thing on social media. The Pakistani fighter was seen holding both his country's and India's flags in his hand, celebrating his victory. When the match presenter asked him about the reason behind his act, he said that the match was for peace.

He said that India and Pakistan are not enemies but are together. The match was for Pakistan and India's friendship.

"This fight was for peace. We are not enemies, we are together. Together, we can do anything. This fight is for Pakistan and India's friendship and being closer," NDTV quoted Shahzaib.

Then he praised Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. "And I want to thank Salman Khan for coming here. He's my superstar," he said. He has been watching Khan's movies since childhood, and it was a pleasure to fight in front of Khan, he said.

Following the match, Shahzaib had an opportunity to interact with Salman Khan, who lauded the fighter's performance at the march.
