Mangaluru: Just as probe is on in the police firing in Mangaluru on December 19, Commissioner of Police Dr P S Harsha and Deputy Commissioner of Police, Arunangshu Giri are to be asked to depose on February 25 before Udupi Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh who is heading the magisterial enquiry.

The police firing, following the CAA protest turned violent, claimed two lives.  The state government then ordered a magisterial enquiry.

Twelve police officers including Commissioner of Police and DCP will be served with notices to appear before the hearing scheduled on February 25.
