UAE’s Alia Abdulsalam sets personal best in Formula 4, Norway

Emirati racer Alia Abdulsalam Fairooz, representing Team Mubadala, recorded a new personal best of 48.34 seconds during the opening round of the Scandinavian Formula 4 Powerboat Championship in Norway.
Alia Abdulsalam impressed during free practice and the time trial, despite being forced out of the main race due to an unexpected technical malfunction. Reflecting on the setback, she noted that the Norway round was an important milestone in her career, particularly as she managed to set a personal record in the face of tough competition.
Team Mubadala is now preparing for the next challenge. The team is organizing a short training camp in the Norwegian city of Sonja as part of its preparations for the Italy round, scheduled for September 15.
Alia Abdulsalam said the technical issue was unforeseen but stressed that the experience would strengthen her performance in upcoming races.
