The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) introduced the Emergency and Crisis Atlas at GITEX Global 2025, a national platform designed to strengthen the UAE’s advancement for emergencies and disasters.

The fully integrated digital system uses artificial intelligence, geographic information systems and remote sensing technologies to predict risks and support faster responses.

Developed as a geospatial platform with more than 40 specialised applications, the system provides analytical tools and interactive maps that display risks, infrastructure and critical resources across the country.

NCEMA said the platform allows teams and partners to run predictive analyses, simulate multiple crisis scenarios and assess potential impacts. The insights help determine readiness levels and guide decision-making to improve national resilience and response efficiency.
