Dubai orders all government services onto single digital platform within one year

Dubai is moving to consolidate all government services into a single digital platform within one year, following directives issued by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.

The plan requires all government departments to integrate their services as part of a wider digital transformation strategy aimed at improving efficiency, simplifying procedures and reducing the number of platforms used by residents and businesses.

Officials say the initiative is expected to contribute up to Dh10 billion to Dubai’s gross domestic product while strengthening the emirate’s position among the world’s most AI-ready cities.

Sheikh Hamdan outlined the direction during a visit to Digital Dubai, the authority leading the emirate’s technology-driven development, alongside the Digital Dubai Government Establishment and the Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment.

He said the focus remains on delivering faster and more responsive services, with government entities operating through unified systems and shared data to improve quality of life and support Dubai’s role as a global business hub.

The directive forms part of ongoing efforts to maintain continuous development despite changing conditions, with authorities placing emphasis on service speed, performance standards and meeting public needs.
