Kochi: The Kerala High Court has stayed the demolition of Palarivattom flyover till October 10. The court gave a verbal direction to the state government in this regard while considering the petition that demanded to conduct repair works instead of demolition.
High Court sought an explanation from the government over the petition. The court has directed the government to submit all reports and documents related to the faulty design and shoddy work of the flyover.
The defence attorney tried to establish that there is no corruption in the construction of Palarivattom flyover while considering the bail plea of the accused arrested. However, court retorted that the reality is that the flyover has collapsed.
