Kasaragod: P Karunakaran has criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for failing to meet the MPs while granting ample time to meet with actor Mohanlal.
Karunakaran came up with the argument on a Facebook post. He alleged that the PM has met Mohanlal when ten leaders including A K Antony have been waiting for the meeting.
All MPs in Kerala have submitted a letter to the PM requesting a face-to-face meeting which was to demand a financial assistance for the flood-hit state.
The letter requested for a meeting on August 30 or 31.
Though they were informed that the meeting could be held on September 3, it was postponed.
'The PM is ignoring Kerala. I express my protest over this', wrote P Karunakaran.
