Tree falls over railway track in Kadalundi; traffic partially disrupted

Kozhikode: Rail traffic was partially disrupted as a tree fell on the railway track in the heavy rain and gusty wind at Kadalundi on Friday. This affected the schedule of the trains and many of them are running late.

The tree got uprooted and fell across the tracks between Kadalundi and Feroke stations.

Several trains including Jan Shatabdi Express are running late.

The authorities said that it would take time for the traffic to resume on a normal scale.
