The government informed the court that sit would take steps to clear the pension dues before March 2018. The government pleader told the court that these decisions were taken at a meeting convened by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan recently.

It was expected that once the financial restructuring was over, the KSRTC would be able to pay salary and pensions promptly. And discussions regarding financial restructuring were in the final stage, the affidavit said.
