Video: Hindutva extremist, cow vigilante threatens CJP protesters

New Delhi: Hindutva workers have gathered at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, threatening to launch direct action against Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protesters amid the continuing agitation over the alleged NEET paper leak and the demand for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation.
Swatantra Bhardwaj, identified as a cow vigilante, claimed that those previously seen in plain clothes at the protest site were police personnel and warned that Hindutva groups would now demonstrate what he described as "real hooliganism." He said Gau Rakshaks and Sanatanis from across Delhi would be mobilised to lay siege to the national capital after a date for the action was announced.

The development comes as CJP accused Bhardwaj of assaulting the father of a minor protester during the July 20 "Sansad Chalo" march at Jantar Mantar. CJP chief spokesperson Saurav Das alleged that the attack left the victim with serious head injuries and accused Delhi Police of shielding the assailant instead of taking action. He demanded that Bhardwaj be taken into preventive custody and booked under stricter legal provisions, including those relating to atrocities against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
Bhardwaj has also posted multiple videos on social media backing the Delhi Police's use of force against student protesters following the Parliament march.
The allegations come amid continuing controversy over the role of plainclothes personnel during the crackdown. Several videos circulating on social media show individuals in civilian clothing carrying lathis and other weapons while attacking protesters. CJP has alleged that they were police personnel operating without uniforms to trigger violence before the crackdown. Separate footage from the July 20 clashes also purportedly shows a uniformed police officer pelting stones at student protesters, further fuelling allegations of excessive use of force.
