At the revered Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, two women allegedly engaged in physical altercations with three female guards.

The altercation ensued when the women were prevented from filming video reels in a restricted area of the temple premises, according to authorities.

Reportedly, the altercation took place on Saturday within the temple grounds. The two women involved, identified as Palak and Pari, along with several others, reportedly assaulted three female guards after being denied permission to shoot video content in the restricted zone of the temple premises. The guards, identified as Shivani Pushpad, Sandhya Prajapati, and Sangeeta Changesia, are employees of a private security firm, as confirmed by Mahakal police station in-charge Ajay Verma.

Authorities have taken action against the accused individuals, who hail from Nagda town, by registering a case under relevant sections of the law.
