Lucky Ali is unlucky over his FB post on Brahmins lineage, he apologises for it
text_fieldsBengaluru: Lucky Ali's recent Facebook post about 'Brahman and Ibrahim' did not receive the response he expected on social media, and as a result, he deleted the post and later apologized for it. In the Facebook post, he tried to connect Brahmanism with Prophet Ibrahim, by saying Brahmins hold the lineage of Ibrahim.
Lucky Ali clarified in his apology that his intention was to bring people closer together and not to cause distress. On his Facebook page, the singer expressed regret over the controversy surrounding his last post and stated, "My intentions were not to cause distress or anger among anyone, and I deeply regret that."
He acknowledged that his message did not come across as he intended and that he would be more mindful of his phrasing in future posts. He also apologized to his Hindu brothers and sisters, recognizing that his words had upset them. In conclusion, he expressed love for all.
Lucky Ali's now-deleted post claimed that Brahmins are descended from Prophet Ibrahim. He wrote, "The name 'Brahman' comes from 'Brahma,' which comes from 'Abram,' which comes from Abraham or Ibrahim. The Brahmans are a lineage of Ibrahim, Alaihisalam, the father of all nations. So why is everyone arguing and fighting without reason?"
Lucky Ali, the son of the late Bollywood actor Mehmood, currently lives in Bengaluru, where he used to travel with his parents as a child. He left Mumbai after his father's death because he felt like he didn't belong there, despite knowing many people. He described himself as a "stranger in the crowd."
