‘Dhurandhar’ track crosses borders; Pak wedding on track goes viral
text_fieldsThe excitement around Dhurandhar has clearly crossed borders. A short video circulating on social media depicts a loud wedding performance set to the film's title track, this time at a celebration in Pakistan.
In the video, which was initially published on Instagram, a man leads a well-synchronised group dance, with everyone dressed in matching black clothes as guests cheer them on.
The performance rapidly drew attention online. Viewers praised the lead dancer's swagger and the group's precise synchronisation, with several describing the performance as vibrant, Indian Express reported.
Comments flooded in from both sides of the border. Instagram user M Abdullah Rafique shared the video with the comment, “My favourite performance from this night. fielding set hote bach bach gaye.”
Another viewer wrote, “Ate and left no crumbs.” Another chimed in, “Border paar bhe dhurandhar ke dhoom.” One commenter took a more reflective tone, saying, “Pakistanis say we Indians are always obsessed with their ish. Let’s be clear every culture has aspects we love of each other don’t mistaken it for any type of obsession. Second this track is done by a Punjabi Sikh who lives in London and roots are from India which Pakistanis are now dancing to. Track is from the early 2000’s.”
A fourth individual added, “Sir…. teach us some moves as well.”
The Dhurandhar title track, composed by Shashwat Sachdev and Charanjit Ahuja, has vocals by Hanumankind, Jasmine Sandlas, and Sudhir Yaduvanshi, producing a vibrant sound that has spread far beyond the film.
Dhurandhar, which premiered on December 5, has quickly become one of the season's most talked-about films, starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
