Abu Dhabi's Civil Defence Authority has announced a hefty penalty for buildings that fail to install smart systems.
A fine of Dh10,000 will be imposed on those who do not comply with the requirement.
The decision aligns with Cabinet Resolution No 24 of 2012, which regulates civil defence services in the state. This move aims to enhance safety and prevent incidents like the recent fire caused by a gas cylinder explosion earlier this month in the capital city.
