Saudi Arabia enhances security with new facilities, advanced digital services

Saudi Arabia’s Interior Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, inaugurated the new General Directorate of Public Security building in Riyadh on Monday. During the event, the minister inspected the state-of-the-art facilities, security equipment, and advanced technology designed to enhance security capabilities and create a more efficient, integrated work environment.

As part of the launch, Prince Abdulaziz also introduced the Innovation Center and the Indicators and Artificial Intelligence Center, both aimed at improving security operations through cutting-edge technology. These centres are part of Saudi Arabia's broader efforts to promote digital transformation within the public security sector.

In addition to these developments, the minister unveiled new automated services on the Absher Individuals platform, which include accident registration, vehicle license printing, digital air weapon licenses, accident and vehicle data reports and driving licenses. These services are designed to streamline processes and make them more accessible to citizens.

The Absher Business platform also saw the introduction of new services, including licenses for rock-cutting technicians and permits for transporting rock-cutting materials, further advancing the platform's role in automating business operations in the Kingdom.
