Four new imams appointed at the Two Holy Mosques

Two new imams have been appointed to the Grand Mosque in Makkah, and another two have been assigned to the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Thursday.

Sheikh Badr bin Muhammad Al-Turki and Sheikh Al-Waleed bin Khalid Al-Shamsan have been given the prestigious roles at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. Meanwhile, Sheikh Muhammad bin Ahmed Barhaji and Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Qarafi have been appointed to serve at the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah.

The appointments were made through a royal decree, further strengthening the leadership at these two significant religious sites in Saudi Arabia.
