Drone attack targets Kuwait International Airport, no casualties

Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation said drone attacks targeted Kuwait International Airport on Saturday.

Spokesperson Abdullah Al-Rajhi said the incident caused damage to the airport’s radar system. He confirmed that no casualties were reported.

Emergency teams and concerned authorities responded immediately after the attack.

They assessed the situation, secured airport operations and began work to restore full operational readiness.

Al-Rajhi said the authority is coordinating with relevant agencies to ensure the safety and security of civil aviation in Kuwait.

Officials continue to monitor the situation as recovery efforts remain underway.
