Hyderabad: A video shared on social media by a man identified as Yash Bhardwaj has gone viral after he recounted how his car became stuck in a pothole and how a Muslim man, Mohammad Alauddin, came to his assistance after several other motorists reportedly drove past without stopping.
In the video, Bhardwaj said his vehicle had become wedged in a pothole and that he waited for help as multiple vehicles passed by. He said Alauddin eventually stopped, helped him at the scene, arranged for a crane, made the necessary phone calls and remained with him until the car was safely pulled out, Siasat Daily reported.
Expressing gratitude, Bhardwaj said that although he is Hindu and Alauddin is Muslim, he considered him a brother, thanking him for extending help without hesitation.
The video has since been widely shared on social media, with many users describing the incident as an example of humanity and communal harmony that transcends religious differences.
