Shah Rukh Khan met with accident during shooting, underwent surgery: Report

Mumbai: The bleeding caused by an injury in the nose during a shooting in Los Angeles made Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan undergo surgery in the US. According to the sources, a small surgical process was required to stop the bleeding after which the actor returned to India and is currently recuperating at home.

Reports suggest that the accident could have been the reason for his absence at Mannat balcony on the occasion of Eid last week. Hundreds of fans were said to have gathered to see him on Eid Al Adha on June 29.

Shah Rukh Khan, known as the "King Khan" of Bollywood, had an impressive start to the year, with his film "Pathaan" becoming a smashing success. As fans eagerly await his upcoming projects, Khan has been confirmed to star in Atlee's "Jawan" alongside acclaimed actors Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi.

Additionally, he is set to captivate audiences with his performance in Rajkumar Hirani's "Dunki," sharing the screen with the versatile Taapsee Pannu. Both films are expected to hit theatres later this year, further adding to Khan's already remarkable professional year.
