Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh touched hearts during his "Dil-luminati Tour" in Manchester when he met a fan from Pakistan and shared a powerful message of unity and love.
In a gesture that has since gone viral, Dosanjh gifted the fan a box of shoes and expressed his views on the divisive nature of borders.
"For me, Hindustan and Pakistan are the same. Punjabis have love for everyone in their hearts. Borders are drawn by politicians, but Punjabis don’t care — we love everyone," he told the cheering crowd, drawing applause for his words of peace and solidarity.
The singer, dressed in traditional black Punjabi attire, welcomed fans from both India and Pakistan, saying, "I welcome all who have come from my country India, as well as those from Pakistan."
In another viral moment from the same Manchester show, Dosanjh introduced his mother and sister to the audience. During his performance of "Hass Hass," he held his mother’s hand and proudly announced, "This is my mom." His mother grew emotional as he bowed before her and embraced her. He then introduced his sister, who was also present at the concert.
Dosanjh, known for hits like "GOAT," "Mombattiye," "Proper Patola," and "Do You Know?", is set to bring his "Dil-Luminati Tour" to India next month, starting with a show in New Delhi on October 26.
