Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati Tour continues to captivate fans with its electrifying performances and grand stage moments.
However, during his Ahmedabad concert on November 17, the singer faced a minor mishap while performing his 2014 hit Patiala Peg.
In a video circulating on Reddit, Diljit was seen grooving to the peppy beats when he suddenly slipped and fell on stage.
Showing his characteristic composure, he quickly got up, paused the performance, and addressed the backup team: “Bhai, yahan pe fire aap jo chhodte ho, mat chhodo. Tel aata hai yahan (Please don’t use the fire effects here. The floor becomes slippery).”
Assuring the audience, he said, “I am okay,” before resuming his high-energy performance, much to the crowd’s delight.
The Ahmedabad show was made even more special with Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan joining Diljit on stage. Kartik, fresh off the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, shared pictures of the memorable moment on Instagram, where the duo twinned in black outfits and shared a warm hug. “Vibe,” Kartik captioned the post.
Fans were further treated to Diljit’s rendition of the iconic Hare Krishna Hare Ram theme song from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, complete with Kartik’s signature hand gestures. Kartik, who plays the character Rooh Baba in the movie, shared a video of the moment, captioning it, “Rooh Baba x Dil-Luminati.”
Diljit also surprised fans by adding Mumbai to his tour. Announcing the December 19 concert in the city, he shared a poster on Instagram Stories with the caption, “Lau ji hogaya Mumbai add. [Guys, Mumbai is now added.]”
The singer is scheduled to perform next in Lucknow on November 22, with the tour culminating in Guwahati on December 29.
