During the event, Sunak emphasized the personal significance of faith in his life, revealing that it guides him in every facet of his existence. The prime minister was seen making salutations of 'Jai Siya Ram,' displaying his deep connection to Hindu beliefs.
A portrait of Lord Hanuman in the background of the stage caught his attention, prompting him to share that a Golden Ganesha adorns his desk at 10 Downing Street.
Recalling his childhood in South Hampton, Sunak spoke of visiting his local temple with his siblings. He also participated in an aarti on stage and was presented with a consecrated Shivlinga from the revered Somnath temple by Morari Bapu.
He expressed the impact of Lord Ram's teachings on his life. "For me, Lord Ram will always be an inspirational figure to face life’s challenges with courage, to govern with humility, and to work selflessly," he affirmed.
